Mists & Chilling Yercaud! - A hill station with decent experiences in 2 days!

Though initially planned at the beginning of the week when I was thinking what to do for this week I was included in this trip but my place was flickering til the last minute we started our journey from office because of issue with car.

So after so much fun with that in front of my manager finally we started.

It took literally 30 minutes to cross 1 km. Credits to Tidel Park signal which we have to cross when we have to go from Ramanujam It park, Chennai. Reasons y I don't want to b in a city.

We went to colleagues house and waited for so much time til the time car arrived.

Credit to my colleague who made sure that I will not be dropped from trip.

We booked ahead in Tamilnadu hotel ahead as demand was more.

We brought a big Harmon Bluetooth speaker and I was singing songs along in all languages which surprised my colleagues ????.

Before we climb the Ghat road we had Tea where the expert over there was flipping tea glass with tea.

Police check was strict. So be Aware.

We checked into hotel and slept.

We got lucky here with too much chillness. I got to know that it was so cool when we visited as there was an alert given for a cyclone in Tamilnadu.

We started the day with a visit to one small Temple (Rajarajeswari temple) but there was no pujari. But people were selling honey.

From there moved to another temple (Shervaroyan temple) which is more of a peak point. This full area was covered with Mist. We loved to stay there for some time. The deity was inside a small cave here where you have to bend and go inside carefully.

Then we moved to Rose Garden where we clicked picturesque photos as we had a DSLR. The park was very good and it was maintained well. At the peak point mist was there.

It was late for lunch and we didn't get proper food. So be on time otherwise you won't get much varieties.

Here comes the waterfalls. Kiliyur waterfalls. After a little walk Downwards, neatly built steps are there. We were thinking how we can climb back these many after getting wet in water.

Though water flow was less I got a chance to sit at a place. Water was chill so I was making faces when I sat initially under waterfall.

Then we moved to hotel. Though some wanted to take rest I wanted to go out and be on road when sunset will happen to see how it will b.

So walked near by lake as our hotel is near to lake. Too much mists here also when we were walking. Ate sweet corn and potato bajji which was crispy and tastier than Chennai beach bajji.

It was so cold outside that we thought whether to go out for eating or not. Luckily we had a car so we went without trouble. After having dinner in a hotel suggested by colleague who ate there previously we bought hand made chocolates which I carried to hometown and ate with family.

Our bird lovers captured diff birds in dslr.

Next morning we planned to woke up early to go to sun rise point (Manjakuttai Sunrise view point).

Here also the mist was too much that water sprinkles formed on my hair and we just saw a glimpse of sun rise for a couple of seconds.

After breakfast we went for boat ride which was good as lake was big. Be careful with timings and employees.

We packed and moved to Kaveri peak and just had Tea coffee over there as we didn't had much time. You can get to see coffee making process here. Its not a peak but a brand name.

Our guys tested their skills with hair pin turnings while getting Down.

Got to know that petrol prices will b higher in hill stations due to freight issues. Do you know this previously?. I was thinking in one place same rate will b there. But no.

The time we crossed Yercaud we felt heat. Luckily after that it was reduced.

After escaping a dash to a mad two wheeler guy who suddenly tried to cross, it took so much time to enter tambaram. we got down in tambaram. And we dispursed to our respective places..
