How to reach -

Kodaikanal can be reached from Chennai with a bus or train journey. It is approximately 537 km from Chennai and takes approximately 8-9 hours of travel by bus. The train runs daily from Chennai Egmore Station to Kodai Road Station in approximately 8 hours. Alternatively, it is possible to travel to the nearby towns of Dindigul, Palani, or Theni, and then take a local taxi to reach Kodaikanal. The closest major airport is the Madurai Airport, which is located about 120 kilometers from the city. The nearest railway station is located in Dindigul which is about 100 km from the town of Kodaikanal.
