Coonoor, Tamilnadu

Today on 25th August 2021, morning at 11 we leaved our resort Veega Pearl, Ooty for Coonoor, which is 33 km away from our resort and 21 km away from Ooty.
At Manthada view point, entry fee is Rs.10/- we took photographs, there is a telescope through which we can see valley view, St.Stephan's Church.
As Coonoor is a small city and the roads are also single we couldn't search  a resort for our stay.  A rickshaw driver helped us and  took us to a resort named Hidden Heaven.  Resort is just like really heaven.. beautiful atmosphere, lovely surrounding, big and clean rooms, food also excellent. We kept our luggage and same rikshaw driver took us  to Hifield tea factory, but due to pandemic factory is closed. At factory outlet we purchased some oils, Nilgiri etc.  In factory's tea garden we took photographs and with same rikshaw we visited SlM's Park. Entry fee 40/-, for still camera Rs.50/-, for Video camera Rs. 100/-
SIM's Park extends over an area of 12 hectares and developed in 1874. It is an important tourist destination to visit in Coonoor. 
Park is really lovely place and good  ambiance.. we liked very much. Those who like landscaping, fresh air, chilled atmosphere must visit SIM's park. It is neatly maintained park which has more than 100 year older trees. Inside park there is a lake with boating facility.  Rs 100/- for 4 seater and Rs.50/- for 2 seater  for 10 minutes. Due to pandemic boating is not open.
We wanted to ride Toy Train but that also closed for now a days.
Then same rikshaw driver dropped us from SIM's Park  to Resort.  He took Rs 400/- for taking us to visit 2 places for 4 hours.
