Cherry in the South- Pondicherry

Pondicherry is a union territory lying about 150km South of Chennai. It is known for its beautiful beaches and amazing coastline in general. Some of the finest churches and old French buildings dot the town due to its history of French Colonization.

Here, I shall share some photos of the amazing city that definitely must be visited atleast once.

Auroville is a serene and scenic place that is built among the woods and is extremely peaceful. The walk to Matri Mandir is an amazing one and Matri Mandir is such a beautifully designed building that you just can't get enough of it.

Some amazing beaches like Rock Beach and Paradise beach are perfect places to hang out. Specially the Rock Beach where no vehicles are allowed post 5pm and then beach remains open past midnight and is a very peaceful place.
