Cafés are type of restraunants, where coffee and tea are served along with baked food. In French, Cafe means coffee-coffee house, that once upon a time only coffee and tea were served. Another name of cafe is cafeteria where food items are displayed and you choose to pay and eat. In many countries cafés sell food along with beverages, while in many cases pub or bar kind of ambience plus food is seen. Years later cafés turned into hang out, dating and meet up place. Modern cafés are called as Internet cafe where on every order you place you are provided with Wi-Fi password to use. You can visit as a group or as solo too. Cafes have both professional and personal ambience, which is a blend of many under one roof.

First thing that falls in your eyes are the ice creams. There are two floors in this cafe. Below is full of ice creams while upper floor is for pastry lovers. Located inside Alwarpet area, which comes under Mylapore, crossing an array of bending roads, houses, a lovely building covered with trees welcomed me. There is a car parking spot. As I entered the cafe, homely ambience took over my sense. Baked food, spices smell started dominating my nostrils. A room full of tables, made me sit and observe lovely yet simple ambience. It is a place for non veg lovers, being a strict vegetarian I ordered cauliflower sweet roast, peri peri fries and frost juice. Food was not only yummy, but was delivered in no time. Chicken broth soup, shrimp scampi flat bread, Mee Goreng mamak and fish fritters are signature dishes of this cafe. If you prefer silence and nature, dont miss visiting this cafe.

The spell used to open a door in Harry potter series is Allohomora. Just at the brink of Indira nagar end, beginning of Sastri nagar, this cafe is full of Harry potter novel theme. Without mentioning the spell you could enter. On the right side is a room holding potter wand, broom and books. Outside the room are covers of four mains houses seen in the movie. The menu is full of Harry Potter novel cuisine, and the dish that has a black hat nearby are the signature dishes. A must visit cafe of Chennai if you are a potter fan.
