5 gem places near KAZA (Spiti Valley)

RECAP: After our night stay in Tabo we witnessed milky way, next day had some Chai & breakfast and went to see Tabo Monastery and

then we were on our way to KAZA

While we were going to Kaza we took a quick detour and went to see the Dhankar Monastery which is 1000 years old but it was closed for some repair work so just got a glimpse from outside.

After our detour we booked our stay in Kaza and we didn't expected to be this nice.

The place was Moustache Hostel which is in Kaza, Himachal Pradesh and room costed us ₹800/night and dinner was excluded.

Next day we woke up around 8 AM got ready ad the we went explore places around Kaza.

For our breakfast we went to Himalayan Cafe in Kaza (@thehimalayancafekaza)

After our Breakfast we went to explore the main locations near Kaza. (Before you start to explore if you brought your own vehicle then fill up the fuel you don't want to get stuck in some areas if you run out of fuel & in some areas there are no signals to contact.)

1st we went to Key Monastery or Key Gompa i.e. 14 to 15 kms from Kaza and it take 40 to 45 mins.

2nd location was Chicham Bridge which is 7kms & takes another 30 mins from Key Monastery.

It is also the Asia's Highest Bridge and is quite scary when you see down from the bridge.

3rd Location was Hikkim which is 32 kms from Chicham Bridge and takes 1 hour 30 mins.

4th Location was Komic which is 3.1 kms and took us 15 mins from Hikkim.

5th and our last location was Langza which is 10 kms and took us about 30 minutes from Komic.

Langza is also known for the huge Budha Statue facing the valley & it is also known as the Fossil Village of Spiti Valley. Many people take these fossils as the souvenirs.
