I was on a business trip to Sydney. I had a weekend in between so I got to check out some of the places there.

In addition to the places in the itinerary, we went to some amazing bars, night clubs and restaurants. In particular - Opera Bar, Trinity Bar, Vasco, Zilver Restaurant were just the best. Also, loved the bars in Surry Hills and the ones along the Darling Harbour.

I loved the China town in Sydney, which looked exotic and had amazing chinese restaurants, shops etc. compared to that of any other major city (NYC, Chicago etc.)

Overall, I felt like Sydney is an extremely diverse city with amazing night-life, restaurants and beaches. In my opinion - a mini NYC & SFO

This was a great place to stay (since I wasn't paying for it). You can take a walk along the Darling Harbour or visit China Town. They have a great breakfast menu and the service was excellent.

A must-see place if you visit Sydney (Duh!). Our office was in the downtown area, so we took a stroll everyday while we stayed in Sydney to the Opera Bar to get a drink and enjoy the weather with an amazing view.

Another must-see place in Sydney. I don't surf but I enjoyed watching all the happy surfers on our way to Watson's Bay. You can catch a ferry near the Opera House and get to Watson's Bay pretty quickly. There are some amazing trails with some great views out here.

If you plan to stay within the city, Wild Life Sydney is the best place where you can catch all the marsupials you'd find in Australia. Also, you get to pet the little kangaroos and feed eucalyptus leaves to the koalas.

If you love food, especially sea food - Don't miss out Sydney Fish Market! I was there with some of my Australian friends. They showed me how it's done - From eating oysters to shrimps with salt, it really was the raw deal!

If you're in Sydney, Bondi Beach is a must-see beach! It's a 15 minutes drive from Watson's Bay. A great place to surf (as I was told). Although, it was fun to watch so many surfers in one place!
