Mesmerising Switzerland ❤️

Hi guys this is just a short walkthrough my Swiss trip!!!!my first abroad trip!!❤️

Journey where one gets lost in the tranquility of the place ❤️

So my journey started from Zürich.

As I woke up in the morning and opened the hotel window I could see the beautiful view of the lake which surrounds the city.

Zürich is 2nd best liveable city as for the quality of life.

I started at 8:30 in the morning travelling to Engelberg from Zürich(it takes 2hrs by coach).

Its one of the best place to visit in Swiss

We take a ride to the top by the rotating cable car which gives the mesmerising view of the mountains below which are snow covered and also the beautiful lush green landscape!!

On reaching the top by the cable car there is a small glacier cave.

Then we head on to the top by taking a walk through a cliff (suspension bridge)which is so much fun and view below is amazing ❄️

As we come across the we have one more ride through a ice -flyer to reach the glacier park

And the ride in the ice flyer is breathtaking as it’s in the midst of the alps !!!and then we reach the glacier park where we enjoy the snow and skiing.

This all is so much fun and cherry on the cake is when you come down from the glacier park

After enjoying the snow in Swiss alps you walk to the Indian restaurant which serves the best Pav bhaji that you will have abroad !!!

After this you move towards Lucerne for the shopping and time around as its on the way to Zürich !!

Next day let’s head towards the top of Europe ‘Jungfrau’

The journey to Jungfrau is the most scenic and beautiful as we start from Zürich we pass through interlaken.Unfortunately we dint have stay at interlaken but its a beautiful place to be in the place surrounded by the lakes and lush green trees !!! and in winters all snow covered.

In interlaken you have many activities to do like best for cycling..then paragliding and sky diving in Swiss alps.

Then from interlaken you head to grund station in Grindelwald,again the most beautiful.

From here we board the train to reach Jungfrau .

The train is almost 100yrs old still in the best condition.The journey in train is again the beautiful experience as we travel to the top by the train (scenical,mesmerising,And much more ).The experience can be felt by experiencing the same .

On reaching Jungfrau we had lunch at the Bollywood restaurant which is all in all a different experience,having a lunch in place surrounded all by the snow covered mountain,as the name of the restaurant (Bollywood)it gives you a feel so !!!

At Jungfrau you have have amazing 10 points to watch through :

I will mention few

-alpine sensation:there’s a cave all with lighted artifical alpine leaves and in the midst you see a beautiful hall of dreams of Switzerland which is beautiful

-Ice palace : best and best to see at Jungfrau it has all crystal like sculptures such as eagles,penguins,igloos and much more

-Glacier plateau : the view from the plateau is simply sensational and here the Swiss flag waves in the breeze on the top

-snow fun : amazing to have activities like skiing,snowboarding,zip line .

Here I have done the zip line believe me it was an amazing experience you go on the top and come down sliding.

-Sphinx terrace : here there is an observatory for astronomical studies.

The view from this place is again spectacular and on clear days you get the view of Black Forest in Germany which we fortunately got !

After viewing and enjoying in the snow we went to shop chocolates at Jungfrau as at this place you can buy the most yummy and famous

Swiss chocolates (red Lindt balls my favourite )

So this was about Jungfrau in short.

It was really amazing ,fun filled and mesmerising

After an amazing two days journey we head towards the capital of Switzerland,Bern city .

Bern city is the historic place ,but again still has and carry the scenicness of beauty of Swiss

This is the palace I liked the most all the shape and size and hight of the building alike covered and decorated with beautiful flowers .

Firstly in Bern we go to garden from where we get the view of the city from top and also the garden is scenic and has 24 colour roses there after the garden we walk down to the bear park were we see large bears .

Then you walk down to the city streets to see a historic clock which stands tall amidst the city streets then you head towards to see the parliament of swiss and then to see the famous church !!

After a long walk we waited down to have the food at an Indian restaurant (namaste india)the food and the ambiance is too a way good❤️

After a city tour of Bern we headed towards Lucerne,lake Lucerne and took a cruise ride in lake .

The lake surrounded by the city and the mountains gives an amazing ride ❤️

After this shopping at Lucerne !!!

Next we headed towards the Black Forest which is Swiss Germany border .

Black Forest is an Area covered with blackish alpine tress this are totally different and beautiful to watch .

Amidst this Black Forest we visited a cuckoo clocks this is small place but too a way cute.

Here the famous cuckoo clocks are made and also there is glass house there where different glass work art is displayed which is again beautiful and something different to watch ❤️

After this we headed to titisee village which is again a small place with lake titisee,which was too a way beautiful and relaxing place to be.

We just had lunch at titisee ,visited the lake then headed towards the most awaited place.................Rhine falls❄️,2nd largest falls in Europe,it was spectacular.

We took a boat ride there ,where we were taken very very closer to the falls ,for a moment it took my breath away, but the scenic beauty that I could see was just way beyond expression.

Then we headed to financial capital of Swiss ‘Geneva’

It’s also a beautiful place to visit ,beautiful lake Geneva and the 460 ft tall fountain (Jet-de-eau).

Also united nation headquarters and headquarters of many more !!!

The most beautiful part at Geneva was having a walk around the streets at night around the lake with the beautiful view of the jet de eau ,music on the streets and a mesmerising ride in a giant Swiss wheel!!

Swiss wheel ride was amazing as it gives the beautiful sight of the city and its beauty and the most beautiful fountain view (jet-de-eau).

Then we rested in the most beautiful and luxurious hotel (hotel movenpick and casino)

The hotel was amazing and had a huge casino too which was fun and amazing !!!

One full day we had relaxing and quality time in Geneva❤️

Places and things are nothing or just non-living until the right people add life to it or give meaning to it ❤️
