Srisailam hills are the popular hills among the Nallamalla hill range because of the existence of the Srisailam Mallikarjuna Swamy temple. Many people from whole over India visit these hills to witness the holiness of the place.

On the way towards Srisailam, in between the Srisailam hill range, one can find the highest peak of the range, Bhairani Konda, which is also called as Sikharam/Sikhareswaram by local people over there. There is a belief that people must visit this mountain before visiting the temple.

Like everyone else, our family has also decided to visit the mountain first before visiting the temple. After travelling around 170 kms from Mahanandi to Srisailam Sikharam mountain peak, we have reached the highest point of the Srisailam hill range. Trust me, the view is breathtaking and edgy enough. We have reached the mountain in the evening times and fortunately, that was the best time to visit the mountain.

It was dawn and dusk, the sun was about to bid a bye for the day, the clouds came altogether at one place in a dark mode seemed to be drizzled for a moment and the leaves of those huge trees were slightly moving because of the mountain breeze. That was so scenic and the people were getting welcomed by the mountain monkeys and everyone was talking about the importance of the mountain.

Monkeys are totally harmless creatures here. They are fun to watch !

There exists a temple, vendors who sell all the eatables and drinks, shopping spots and other herbal products counters are available too. With all the basic amenities, the government has taken care of everything to provide the visitors a happy visit. So, if you are planning to visit the highest peak of Srisailam hills to capture the natural scenic moments, you don't have to worry about the route and facilities on the mountain. Everything is well maintained by the government and forest department and definitely one need not worry about the network signals because the signal towers also existed on the mountain.

Sikaram mountain is the highest point of Srisailam hills, hence a person can see the panoramic view of whole mountain ranges of Srisailam and the temple too. A person will get the feel of standing on top of everything in the world under the sky. The sunset view was astonishing. There was a corner of the mountain from which the whole view of Srisailam can be seen including the river Krishna. One can view the mountain range, the Krishna river and the temple on a one shot, that is totally like a scenery to fill in one's own eyes.

One must be careful enough, while clicking the pictures, due to the hilly area, the amount of rocks is high. One should take proper care of themselves and children while exploring the whole mountain. The highest point also comes with the highest slope of the hill too, hence one must be cautious and conscious. Take care while visiting the temple and the edges of the mountain. Do not take selfies, especially in the corners of the mountains. Take someone's help to get clicked and also while appreciating the nature, click the pictures by standing in one place. Life is more important than pictures right.

If a person stands on this Bhairani Konda, he/she can view the whole scene and get mesmerized by the trickiness of the nature. So, what are you waiting for? Pack your bags to witness the rawness of the nature which is stunning and exhilarating enough. Try to stand for a while at the corner of the mountain to grasp the whole scene of the nature, because one can view every part of the nature which includes mountains, river, people, birds, animals, clouds, sky and the sun!!

Hence, me and my sisters have got clicked by each other on the corner of the mountain by making that breathtaking view as our background where one can see the mountains, river, cloud and sunset.
