Solo in Spain #VisitAgain

I love solo travel - the freedom that comes with planning everything on your own is amazing. It's also terrifying sometimes when things go wrong or are uncomfortable especially as a girl. Last year for my birthday I decided to gift myself a solo trip that would include some adventurous activity. Inspired by ZNMD, I planned a 12 day trip to Spain which included skydiving in Seville on my birthday. Spain is an amazing country - from beautiful hills in the North to gorgeous beaches to so much art in almost every city. I didn't want to rush my way through the country so I picked 5 places to visit - Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Valencia & Montserrat. I lived in hostels and Airbnb accomodations - meeting so many other travellers. A lot of their stories actually inspired me to plan another trip to Spain to visit all the places that I didn't this time around including Ibiza, Costa Brava, Malaga, Cadiz, Formentera and so many other places. I loved the food in Spain (churros, tapas & paella), I loved the wine and I loved idyllic walking around the streets just enjoying how beautiful the places were. I will definitely be revisiting Seville and Barcelona because there is just so much beauty in these two places that one trip isn't enough. The dream is to revisit Spain in 2026 after the completion of Sagrada Familia if it is completed by then (it's been under construction for over 150 years now) and also cover all the other amazing places I didn't in this trip. Sólo vives una vez!

Have you even visited Spain if you haven't visited the Sagrada Familia?

Similar to Dahi Handi in India, Spain has these human towers. Was lucky to catch one outside Sagrada Familia. Please note this is the normal crowd level in Spain!
