My flight was from Mumbai via Singapore to Incheon Airport. (Mumbai to Singapore (7 hours), Layover at Singapore (15 hours) and then again 8 hours from Singapore to Incheon. (To and from ticket cost from 30k to 50k). From Incheon to Daejeon it cost around 25000 Korean wom (1 Rs equals 14 Korean won approx at the time of exahange). It was a Six days trip and was good.
Daejeon, South Korea
This is the financial capital of South Korea, surrounded by beautiful scenery and excellent architectural advancement. As known South Korean transport system is the best in the world, the city is also connected with regular buses, subways and prepaid taxis. The most beautiful is its nearby places. I stayed at " Statistical Training Institute" Daejeon, South Korea. One can take hotel or dormitories, I bet you Korean dormitories are the best, they are cheap, clean and best. If you are planning to have a pocket friendly journey, opt for these.
Now I will list out some places one can visit in Daejeon:-
1. Yuseong Hot Spring
It is so good, people up there are so friendly mostly older people. They will assist you how get into that hot spring and use that. One must visit it and some more structures are near by you can have photography sessions there.
2. Sky Road
This is good, Its little far away from the place I stayed but believe me you have the best subway. You can go anywhere, these are cheap too. At Sky Road the music is too good you legs will automatically start dancing and one will not wish to live that place. One can do shopping etc up there. Nearby you have puppy shops, cutie puppies are there.
4. Prehistoric Site, Daedeok-daero, Daejeon
This place is good for evening walking. You can spare 3-4 hours and roam around looking for food in parallel and visiting this place depicting the old culture of Korea.
5. Gongju-si, South Korea
At the last day we went to a historic temple in the mountains of Gongju-si, 1-1.5 hours from Daejaon . The place was too peaceful and was full of natural beauty. There we learnt korean rituals, had korean style tea and most importantly had food in the temple "prasad" which was hell tasty and in my life i never had such food. All thing were boiled (potatoes, soup, kimchi and rice) still was tastiest. It took whole day there, it was worth.
At last I must say korea was too good in terms of places to visit, food and people everything was just perfect. I will highly recommend one to visit south korea on a family trip.
3. Expo Bridge
Its in the shape of Korean heart aka "simjang". You will love that, most importantly at every photo-shot we used to make that heart.
