Khari River is a natural architecture of water.
It's just 3km from Bhuj-Kutch, on kodki road.
Its as two names: 1) Grand Canyon of Kachchh. 2) Kuvari Nadi.
1st name is because of its huge structure of Aquatic Rocks under the land level, aprox 3-4 stories.
2nd name is because this river doesn't meet any ocean. When a Lady doesn't get marry she is called "kuvari" in gujrati language. So because of that she is called "kuvati nadi".
You can also do 2-3km trek. When you will reach the point, on your right there will be valley and on your left you will see river way. Go on right till 2-3 km, you will see beautiful rocks and a little old bridge. It will feel like you are walking in the river.
Except rainy days you can visit anytime. Evening time is best or else early morning, because in kachchh the temperature is normally high in afternoon. There are also many things to see in Bhuj, museum, 2 palace and swaminarayan temple.
When you visit to Rann of kachchh, you must keep your 1 day for this river and bhuj. You can thank me later, after getting your beautiful shots for your Instagram.
It was my half day trip. But was worth it.
Near by railway station:Bhuj
Near by Bus stand:Bhuj
Going alone is safe but little scary if at the spot there is only you. So go with someone.
If you are going by bus or train, you have to take a rickshaw or you can take local shuttle rickshaw till the brand factory and from there its in walking distance.
