My trip started from Mumbai, I chose Sri Lankan Airlines which took around 8-9 hours to reach Singapore with a layover of around an hour in Colombo. It was comfortable journey, staff was courteous and food was decent.

It's one of the best airports from around the world, all terminals are well connected through monorail. Jewel is located at terminal 3 and is referred as Jewel Changi Airport, a must visit place.

I used Grab it's an app like Uber Ola for taxi services pretty expensive though and finally reached my hostel in Chinatown. First 2 days I stayed at pod hotel in Chinatown just to experience it. These pod hotels are pretty much decent budgeted. Chinatown is one of the prime locations in Singapore with MRT station of its own which makes it very well connected with other places. Chinatown is also a place to enjoy good street food with lots of hawker centers around, you can also indulge yourself in street shopping.

This is how pods looked actually

Day 1

So I started first day of my trip with Gardens By The Bay and it's pretty big, you need atleast good 3-4 hours to look everything around also you should plan it in a way where you don't miss their evening lights and sound show.

Day 4

Fourth day began with adventures at Singapore zoo. Singapore zoo is very big and it includes river safari, night Safari and Jurong bird park, it will take a day to see all three except Jurong bird park it's not in same premises, though you can choose from the choice of parks.

Day 5

Sentosa Island is man made Island made for recreational activities. Major attractions on this island includes Universal Studios, SEA aquarium, Madame Tussauds museum and many more. There are three ways to reach this island by road, by monorail and tram. You can reach to island using tram option from mount Faber peak. I have used both tram and monorail for my commute. You should definitely visit universal studios and keep a day for it to enjoy all the attractions and rides inside. Places I have visited in Sentosa Island are Universal Studios, Madame Tussauds museum, skyline luge (adventure sport activity). You can choose other attractions according to your taste and interest.

Besides all these places I visited Haji lane, Haji lane is very lively place for some good food with funky, cool cafes and restaurants. Bugis street and orchard road for some shopping. If you want to go for street shopping go to bugis. If you want to try out indian restaurants go to little india.

Singapore has a lot to offer to everyone it's like a travellers paradise whether you are going alone or with friends and family, it's a place which has something for everyone. Singapore is very well connected through MRT (metro). Public transport is superb. I traveled mostly through MRT, taxis are expensive. You can easily buy sim Card from airport itself before leaving there are lots of options available.
I would suggest SingTel. If you are planning your trip to Singapore just go for it it's worth it and trust me you won't regret.

Happy traveling
