Making a stopover in Singapore and looking for affordable and accessible hostels in Singapore to stay? Students and backpackers, I feel you! I always get comments about how expensive living in Singapore can be. You can stay for 5 nights in Thailand for the price of a luxury hotel stay in Singapore.

I'm extremely thankful for some hostels in Singapore that provide a way out for those on a budget, without having to sacrifice accessibility, comfort and cleanliness. I've put together some of the most unique hostels in Singapore, from feeling like you're living in a sci-fi movie, to living in the 60s.

I've also worked together with a couple of hostels to offer you an even cheaper rate for your stay in Singapore. If you do book through my discount codes, don't forget to say hi to the friendly people behind these hostels! ????

Singapore's first 'Societal' brand, COO, introduces a new-generation hospitality experience to locals and travellers alike. Designed by award-winning design firm Ministry of Design, COO synergizes a design hostel and a casual bistro. The COO brand celebrates all things social, for millennials to mingle and meet like-minded individuals. When I visited them, the darkened interiors, neon lights and grey sheets reminded me of being transported into a sci-fi film. Star Wars fan, anyone?

5footway.inn Project Boat Quay is a shop house style, artistically fashioned boutique hostel situated along, and facing, the Singapore River. The greatest selling point of the hostel is the picturesque view of the Singapore River and the CBD's skyline at the hostel's communal terrace. The discovery of Singapore's rich culture takes place firstly through the peepholes of our gallery style hostel. Located right in the middle of the famous Boat Quay, seafood restaurants, quaint cafes and lively pubs and bars littered the area, catering to various travel itineraries.

I can swear by the views after staying over on night. Project Boat Quay offers exclusive views that overlooks Singapore River, the CBD, and Marina Bay Sands!
