We stayed at Holiday Inn, Singapore - located in the heart of the city. The stay was comfortable and worth it, and the buffet meals were great!
We started off our marvellous trip to Singapore by visiting one of the best attractions in the city - Gardens by the Bay. It's always recommended to visit the Garden early evening so you can stay back to experience the beautiful night show they put up.
We visited the Merlion the following day. You should definitely opt for the lovely river boat ride that gives you a beautiful glimpse of Merlion, Swiss (the tallest Hotel in Singapore), the breathtaking Singapore Flyer and of course the beautiful Marina Bay overall. The view during the morning is really great and you will get some pretty pictures too because it isn't crowded.
Next up was Sentosa Island - you cannot miss the experience here! We took the cable car to Sentosa just for the experience and the view from above was amazing indeed. You can see the island & the forest right below you!
We visited the Madame Tussaud's museum that was great - don't miss it! It has a great array of wax sculptures and art along with a Marvel 4D show along. Also visit the sea aquarium, it is known to be the largest oceanarium in the world and has the largest number of marine animals and species there.
Sentosa Island is also known for its adventure and the luge ride! It's a ride you will cherish for your lifetime - there's absolutely no age limit for the ride as well. You can take your small kid or you granny along as well, trust me.
We ended the day by chilling by the beach side, watching the spectacular night show "Wings of Time" that is projected just by the beach outdoors during late evening.
Save up all your energy and excitement for the last & best one - Universal Studios! You need to keep an entire day to visit this place, it's huge & you won't realise how you've spent all day here. The best rides/activities here is the Lost World, Madagascar (great show for family), Far Far Away, New York & Ancient Egypt. There's also a trick eye museum in there.
You might absolutely feel that the rides are pretty less for a single day. However, the waiting lines are pretty long (some even might be a 2 hour wait) and the weather is unpredictable as always (if it rains, most of the rides go on a standstill). However, the place is really pretty and you can wander about taking some really cool pictures.
Time to leave - ah, not yet! Last up, do not miss the beauty of the Changi International Airport at Singapore. Even if you do not need to change a terminal, just take a free metro ride to another terminal for fun!
The terminal 3 has a beautiful indoor waterfall - also called the world's largest indoor waterfall. It has water coming in through glass on a beautiful lush green forest. It is absolutely mesmerising to watch!
Some of the best attractions in Singapore listed here, the ones you definitely wouldn't want to miss!
We went in to the Singapore Flyer ride as well where we entered the capsule and we got a great view of Singapore right from up above! It was beautiful and totally worth it!
The garden is magnificent and has really pretty and instagrammable plants there, along with a huge skyway that you can stare at in awe. You get to view the garden from a great height right next to the Flower & Cloud Forest Dome. The Domes are really pretty and it has a great waterfall as well that you can enjoy. Not forgetting the highlight of the evening - the light and sound show at the super tree grove that is worth all of it. You can simply lay down on the grass and watch the beauty of the show!
