If we see on the world map, Singapore is like a dot but has so much to do and so much to explore. 48hours are not enough for a place like Singapore but let’s challenge ourselves and take out the best of it.
Day 1
If you reach in the morning rest for a while and by afternoon hit the nearest area and take a small city tour, gel yourself in the atmosphere of Singapore. If you reach by the evening, dude you have less time, so dump your bags and start exploring.
Let’s start with an easy, breezy evening and take a stroll at the Orchard Road, a place with beautiful cafes and boutiques or you can just go and meet some incredible animals from around the world in the Night Safari.
Day2
Try waking up as early as you can, so you can cover the most of it. Start the day with relaxing and enjoy the view from the Singapore Flyer. It’s for an hour and the view is beautiful or head to the Garden by the Bay and let your eyes take in the colourful and unique flowers, visit the Domes the cloud dome and the flower dome. I will suggest you to be there till afternoon and head to the Sentosa Island. And island full of fun and adventure. Some shows and some zoos and aquariums, some museums and some exciting rides. My favourite was the Skyline Luge. Ride on the gocart and come down the hill in full speed. It is something for which I would love to go back to Singapore. Also it has the ifly Singapore, which is an indoor skydiving experience.
Enjoy your day but don’t let your night go away dull, as Singapore has everything. Visit Clarke Quay, a river planned area, best for night life and eating joints, the vibe of this place is amazing or you are someone who loves gambling Marina Bay Sands Casino is the place for you.
Day 3
Who will say NO to Universal Studio. Don’t miss the roller coaster, the transformers ride and the tour in Egypt. Oh! It’s breathtaking, you won’t disappoint the kid in you. For the night you can treat yourself with Singapore’s best view from the Marina Bay hotel, their rooftop lounge is accessible with quiet affordable cover charges.
If you want to shop, you can go to the mall near Marina Bay Sands. Also do not forget buying something from Charles and Keith as it is way too cheap. If you are running out of time do not worry as airport has a store too. Treating yourself at the airport wouldn’t be a bad idea.
A trip to Singapore is never a bad idea. It is a place suitable for everyone, people of any age. Also very safe for solo or female travellers. Writing this article make me wanna go back already.
