On the third day we rented a car or we can call it a taxi which costed about 1500 to cover all the local points of Gangtok. I must mention the other thing that as these places are in the government areas a minimal amount of parking charges are charged.
📍BAKTHANG FALLS:
•Firstly we stopped at this spot. And with the name we all can guess this is a waterfall.
•There were various stalls which included foods (fruits, momos and many other).
•Secondly at this very place, I rented the local dress of Sikkim called as "DUMVUM". I had to pay Rs.100 for the same. (I LIKE TO TRY THE LOCAL DISHES AND DRESSES😅)
•There are various small stalls of various gift items which contained a lot of items.
📍GONJANG MONASTERY
I am a person who is very fond of monastries and I like to enjoy the peaceful culture of the monastery.
•We headed towards the Gonjang monastery, and there we did spent time enjoying the view of monastery.
•The monastery is well mantained.
📍PLANT CONSERVATORY
•This is a place where basically the students visit for their excursion.
•We did explored a few plants and flowers.
•We noticed the scientific names as well.
•A must go place in order to gain knowledge
📍SIKKIM HIMALAYAN ZOOLOGICAL PARK
•I spotted 3 animals there: Red Panda (which I have seen for the first time), Cheetah, and a bear.
•We spotted different types of birds.
•Yes, the other thing is that we had to purchase tickets for this.
📍HANUMAN TOK
•This was another place which I fascinated.
•I have written more about this in my another photoblog.
•It is said that when Hanuman ji was taking the Sanjeevani booti for Sree Ram he stopped there at this spot and so this place was named as Hanuman tok.
