It was a plan that just got live when we girls thought of escaping from the boring metro life to live a little bit of nature. And the bucket list of wishes opened to choose a place that we all wanted to go first . North east was everyone's pick and Sikkim was a total head nod from all. Thus began the journey and what an amazing one that was. Having done a lot of background work before we set out, I had decided to pull out my experience on this trip and let the world know of such a beautiful place ., that is Sikkim.
Our second day was to set out to visit indo China border, nathula along with tsongo lake and baba mandir. Its a long ride with twist and turns that will lead us finally to the destination. but all the same its a beautiful travel experience where you will never get anything but scenic views on anywhere in 360 degree angle.I must say I have never enjoyed the view in any road trip like I did today . The mysterious mountains of Sikkim and beautiful waterfalls let us into another world . All the storries that I heard about Sikkim came into my mind. I pictured zillions gods traveling through these mountains and across the in numerous waterfalls. Amazing experience . You need to walk your way to baba mandir.
This was my first visit to a monastery . And to visit this monastery gave me such peace and self content that I felt so close to nature . When we arrived evening prayers were coming to a close as we hurried to visit the sacred temple . Small wooden floored room overlooked a closed glass paned room that held a huge throne made of gold and precious stones .
