Day 1

•The first day we came to Gangtok by our own car, and explored the local markets.
•We visited the Mahatma Gandhi marg (It is a place where numerous shops are there, including restaurants and cafes).
•The picture which I have attached is quite amazing.
•But one thng I must mention the costs of everything including foods are quite expensive. On the other hand alcohols are a bit cheap there.

Day 2
Nathu La Pass
•We headed towards the Nathu La pass which is about 1.5 hours from Gangtok.
•I must say we can call it as heaven.
•The other important thing is everyone must carry camphor, which may protect you from further breathing issues, though I  faced alot.
• Everyone was saying that plastic bottles and plastic related stuffs are not allowed, so we did not carry any but few people were carrying, but I can think prevention is better than cure. Like if anybody is caught you need to pay a compensation.
•As we all know Nathu la pass is the Indo-China border so various documents are required.
One must carry voter card/driving license along with two passport size photos.
•Foreigners are not allowed there.
•The othet thing is that one must rent the jackets, boots as well as gloves.
•Wear socks and prevent yourself from collapsing

Changgu Lake
•Another beautiful spot.
•The place is just to enjoy the views and enjoy the yak rides.
•There is a story behind this place:
The beautiful tsogmo lake which is located in the east of Sikkim, has an urban legend behind it. It is said that where the Lake is situated, there used to be a tribal people living there. The tribal people living there were prospering there with time, but there was a prophecy by an old village woman, that soon the water will swallow the whole place, and there will be nothing left but water. But nobody listened to her, after numerous attempts by the old women, she decided to leave alone with her Yak and after two weeks the whole place submerged in water, drowning everybody including animals. Till this day the native people of Sikkim come to pray to the spirits of the dead.
