5 Day Trip to North Sikkim

Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station, you can  either book a shared taxi or a private cab for your journey to Gangtok. The scenic drive will take you alongside the banks of the Teesta River, offering picturesque views of the mountains and flowing waters. The journey typically spans about 4 to 5 hours.

Once you arrive in Gangtok, check in at your hotel, and recharge with a delicious lunch. You can then consider exploring local attractions such as Ban Jhakri Falls Park, Ganesh Tok, sunset viewpoint, and in the evening, take a leisurely stroll along the vibrant M.G. Road. Cap off your day with a delightful dinner experience in this bustling area. Enjoy your stay in Gangtok!

After a hearty breakfast, get ready for an epic day trip to Tsomgo Lake and Nathula Pass! The drive to Nathula is a visual treat and is diligently looked after by our Indian Armed Forces. But beware, Nathula sits up high, so you might find oxygen playing hard to get. That's where camphor comes to the rescue – don't forget to bring it along. Once there, soak in the view and wave hello to the Indo-China border. If you time it right (between Jan and April), you might even stumble upon some friendly snow. Just remember, your camera might need to take a break too, as photography is a no-go beyond a certain point.

From Nathula, make your way to the Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple. This place isn't your ordinary temple – it's all about a legendary Indian Army soldier who's like the guardian angel of the troops stationed here. His story is wrapped in mystique and folklore, making the temple a must-visit for both soldiers and curious visitors alike.

Now, Tsomgo Lake is a whole other kind of beauty. Here, you can do some wild stuff like riding a Yak, taking a ropeway adventure, or just ambling around the lake to snap some awesome pics.

Once you've had your fill of adventure, it's time to make like a boomerang and head back to your hotel for some well-deserved relaxation. Enjoy the ride!

Start your day with a wholesome breakfast. Try to wake up early and start your journey by 9 am. On the way visit Singhik View point, Seven Sister Water Fall, and Naga Water Fall. Reach Lachen by evening and take rest in your hotel as it will be a full day drive.

Wake up at 4 am if you want to catch the spectacular sunrise at Kala Patthar. Grab your breakfast from the hotel and embark on a wondrous journey to Kala Patthar. Here, you'll find snow all year round.

Prepare to be mesmerized by the breathtaking sunrise, play around in the snow like a kid, and then make your way to the sacred Gurudongmar Lake in North Sikkim. But remember, oxygen can be a bit shy there, so pack that trusty camphor. The lake is a sight to behold, simply magical. It spends most of its time frozen, reflecting the majestic Kangchenjunga peaks, creating a scene straight out of a fairy tale.

After that, make your way to Chopta, and from there, head back to your hotel. Enjoy a well-deserved cup of tea, pack your bags, and hit the road for Lachung. It's going to be a beautiful 3 to 4-hour drive. Upon arrival in Lachung, check into your hotel, and don't forget to refuel with a hearty dinner. Sweet dreams await in this Himalayan paradise!
  

Yet again wake up early , and It's time to kick off your last day with a thrilling adventure to Yumthang Valley and the legendary Zero Point(you need a permit(per cab) to visit Zero point and the driver charges an extra fare so discuss this before hand with your driver and he or she can arrange for your permit as well).

Yumthang Valley, aka the Valley of Flowers, is your first stop. Take a leisurely stroll down to the river, snap some Insta-worthy pics, and then rev up for the journey to Zero Point. This place is a nature lover's utopia, where snow blankets everything, beauty is off the charts, and the Himalayas flex their jaw-dropping views.

On the way back, we've got another treat for you – a dip in the hot spring, having medicinal properties. Afterward, bid adieu to this mountain paradise and hit the road to Gangtok.
