3 days in Sicily

Tripoto

Three days is enough to get to know the beaches, cultural traditions and ancient ruins of Sicily. Take one of two itineraries designed by our experts.

East Coast: Etna, Taormina, Syracuse

The starting point of this journey is Catania. Visitors are met by the largest airport on the island. Spend your first day examining the architectural "business cards" of this city: majestic cathedrals, formidable castles, elegant squares.

West Coast: Palermo, Trapani and Marsala

For many visitors to Sicily, Palermo is the starting point of the trip. It is the largest and busiest Sicilian city. It will charm you with its historical sites, amaze you with grandiose cathedrals, surprise you with a bright contrast of cultures in street markets.

On the second day, leave the bustling metropolis and explore the coastal towns of Trapani and Marsala, which are renowned for their wonderful wineries. From here you can head to the medieval village of Erice or take a tour of the unique pink lakes. Along the way, you will come across many salt pans and old windmills.

Both routes introduce you to the culture of wine, food and music of Sicily. Both will offer urban adventure and historical sightseeing. Both will allow you to appreciate the natural wonders of Sicily. You only need to choose the “gateway” to the sunny island - Catania or Palermo.

For short trips, it's worth renting a car to make the most of your time. First-class resorts with a private beach await you.
