Day 1
So it was a long cherished dream to Visit Hampi aka Vijayanagara. The Legendary city set up with blessing of Vidyaranya Swami by Harihar & Bukka.
We started from Pune and haulted at Solapur for night.Early morning, we started our drive and reached the resort at sharp 11 am with a pit stop for quick chai n idli.
After checking in, we called up an auto who was our roaming partner for next 3 days.I will recommend hiring auto as parking lots are away from actual monuments and Hampi is all about sterdy feet n lot of walking.
Hired Auto will drop you at very entrance n will pick you at your convenience.
We stayed at Heritage Resort. Its a big resort with good food, stunning rooms and lush greenary.Staff is well infotmed and polite.
