Seattle may not seem like it but is the largest city in the PNW. Thanks to the diversity and large parks, it makes for a great place to explore.
1. Pike Place Market
One of the first things you should do when you arrive at your downtown Seattle hotels is to go straight to Pike Place Market. It’s a great place to get artisanal treats and fresh sandwiches.
2. Seattle Centre
The Seattle Centre has so much for you to explore and is rich in history. This almost SciFi-Esque cityscape was built for the 1962 World’s Fair.
3. Space Needle
The Space Needle has been the icon of the Seattle skyline for over 60 years. Make sure you go right to the top for breathtaking city views.
4. Chihuly Gardens and Glass
The Chihuly Gardens and Glass were first installed by the artist Dale Chihuly in 2012 within the Seattle Centre. The glassworks is out of this world.
5. Museum of Pop Culture
Did you know that Seattle has its own Museum of Pop Culture? It has been the location for many festivals. In 2016 it held the Experience Music Project and in 2019 it included costumes from horror shows such as The Walking Dead and A Nightmare on Elm Street.
