Once we have landed at the Delhi Airport, booked an Uber Intercity which took around 5 hours to reach Ramnagar.... From Ramnagar we already have booked one night stay at Gairal (stay at Jim Corbett) and 3 safaris. One of the safaris was about to start in the evening. We boarded our gypsy and therefore our trip started towards the silence of forest....
Once you enter the forest you won't have any network and get detached from the outside world. You start to get engrossed into the beauty and silence of the forest. The home for the wild.
Our first safari started at around 1:30 PM. We saw so many deers of different breeds, birds of different types. Suddenly one of the other gypsys informed that they have seen a tiger and our driver rashes towards it, on the way we saw wild elephants walking around. We waited and waited for a very long time but the Savana grassland has camouflaged the tiger and we were not able to see anything. We came back a bit disappointed but the ride was worth it. Later we spent out time watching at the clear sky and the stars.
The second day started at morning 4:30 AM. We were busy gazing at the morning sky. The silence of the forest was interrupted by the sound of the river Ramganga. The clear sky, clean air to breath made it worth to rise in the morning. Our next safari started at 7:15 AM in the morning and continued till 10:00 AM. We saw Gharials, Crocodiles lazily sitting near the river, deers grazing, birds chirping. At 10:00 AM we came to Dhikala for lunch, another stay point inside the forest. Later at around 1:30 PM our third safari started, we could hear the deers calling. Our driver said that it is because there is a tiger nearby. Very silently we waited for sometime but couldn't see. The same evening we were dropped outside Jim Corbett and our next part of the trip started.
