Day 1:

We arrived at noon and were welcomed with a refreshing welcome drink and followed by a hearty lunch in which we loved Saffron Paneer Tikka With Sundried Tomato & Olives , Cottage Cheese Steak In Rosemary Neapolitan Sauce and not to forget the amazing Saffron Baked Yogurt. The check-in was a little tiresome but once done, they made all efforts to provide us a pleasant stay. We spent the evening at leisure near the pool side, enjoying the scenic beauty of the property and mountains at the backdrop.

We had dinner at the Garden Cress - The Art of Culinary, the in-house fine dine restaurant with a vast menu to choose from. Their Jr Sous Chef - Mr. Nayan Sahu deserves a special mention who pleased our taste buds to unexpected levels with his immense culinary skills. The ambiance of the place is a cherry on top.

Day 2:

We woke up and again tucked our stomachs full at the Garden Cress with a huge breakfast spread. We didn't want to go out in the heat so decided to stay and enjoy the tranquillity of the place and views near the pool side where they recently introduced drinks and dine with barbeque too. It was time for lunch and we went straight to Garden Cress where we had the most delicious Sikandari Nalli , Mutton Rara & Garhwali Chicken Curry which was absolutely delicious and went really good with steam rice.

Day 3:

So our final day here started with a tour of this grand property. We walked through some of their grand rooms, hallways , gym and it was great pleasure like visiting a monument itself.

Then we moved over to their coffee cum dessert café Crust - the Coffee lounge and tried some assorted European desserts. The light aroma of fresh bakery and well done interiors give an enchanting makeover and one can even read their favourite books with a cup of coffee here.

In the evening we went for drinks at Allen and Marlee's - their own brewery ( opening soon ) with a large collection of top notch liquors and some band performances to enjoy that drink. An amazing rustic feel of old school pubs. It was followed by a dinner and we winded up for the day. Chef Nayan Sahu had prepared an amazing dinner menu for us and each dish in the menu was paired with a wine. In the menu there was Peri Peri Spiced Minced Lamb With Pineapple Salsa in appetizer paired with Hardey's Red Wine. In the mains , we had Roasted Chicken With Spinach & Carrot Mash which was paired with Jacob"s Creek Chardonnay and not to forget the dessert which was Coconut Panacotta which had a very mild flavor of coconut and it was really very good and is highly recommended for those who prefers mild sweetness in their desserts.

And finally, we bid adieu to the place. The staff, service and hospitality is one of the finest. The staff put up their best efforts to make our stay a memorable one.
