ValleyView Villa is a homestay blessed with puppies of all shapes and sizes. Its owner Sabrina Singh has lost count of the number—from miniature pinschers and boxers to cocker spaniels and chihuahuas.
Owners Sabrina Singh and her late husband Brigadier Jasbir Singh have cherished their home in the hills of Ranikhet for 30 years now. Late Brigadier Singh moved from Chandigarh to Uttarakhand's Kumaon region believing the mountains offer the perfect landscape to focus on his writing. And rightly so no one can deny it. The vast mountains always have something magical about them making it inviting to one and all.
The Cosy Homestay
Both of them had always dreamt of opening their home along with a small cafe so that people can come and relax. Offering stunning views of the Himalayas and the Gagas river valley, homestay ValleyView Villa offers six rooms.
Cosy rooms are perfect for families, solo traveller or even a group of friends. And if you are a dog lover (warning to people who are scared of dogs), look out for dogs waiting to greet you in the morning! With cool temperature the villa is surrounded by magnolias, apricots, lilies, kiwis and dahlias trees inviting an array of birds creating music throughout the day for a stress free holiday!
Cafe and the shop
Head to the cafe with a view for some burgers and fritters. Try some freshly baked cakes, pies, cookies and other confectionery or paratha puri or eggs, toast, cornflakes and milk for breakfast. When in mood for shopping, head to the shop that stocks shawls and stoles crafted by the women of the Himadri Hans Handloom Foundation.

By rail: The closest railway station is Kathgodam train station, which is a three-hour drive from the property.
