After visiting City Palace Udaipur, I decided to cover the 5 other sightseeing spots which takes approx. 3 to 4 hrs to explore. Fateh Sagar Lake is situated in Udaipur is an artificial lake named after Maharana Fateh Singh of Udaipur and Mewar. Chetak Smarak, also called Chetak Samadhi, is a memorial to Rana Pratap's famed steed Chetak. The horse died of battle wounds after helping the Rana effect a miraculous escape from the Battle of Haldighati. The memorial is said to have been built at the spot that Chetak died. At a distance of 3 km from Udaipur City Railway Station, Mansapurna Karni Mata Ropeway is a popular cable car ride that connects Sri Karni Mata Temple at Machhala Hill Top and Deendayal Upadhyay Park in Udaipur. Pichola lake is an artificial fresh water lake, created in the year 1362 AD, named after the nearby Picholi village. Enjoy your coffee and snacks sitting upon the breath taking Pichola lake on the Ghat Side or inside cafeteria. Coffee shop serves the best aroma coffee, shakes, smoothies, sandwiches, pizzas, ice teas etc.
