We were a group of 4. We started our journey by train from Delhi sarai rohilla railway station. It was a long and tiring journey of 5-6 hours.
We finally made it to Jaipur railway station. It welcomed us and below the welcome board was written that Jaipur is situated 428 metres above sea level. That was pretty evident though because we got to see many hills on our way to Jaipur.
On day 1 we did nothing as we all were tired so we went to sleep.
On day 2 we hired a local auto rickshaw and asked him to show us all the places in Jaipur and stay with us for the whole day. We paid him 800 INR for the whole day.
He took us to Amber fort first. It was an amazing experience of seeing that fort situated around hills.
We were mesmerized by the look of this fort. Also, the weather was so pleasant.
We had to climb up so many stairs to get on top of the fort. It was no less than a trek to be honest but the view after the struggle was worth it.
When we got on top of Amber fort, we saw this beautiful view of surrounding hills..
The fort had this amazing Instagram-friendly colored structure that catched my eyes and I couldn't resist myself from posing like those chic insta travel bloggers!!
Then we proceeded further and clicked some more amazing pictures.
After exploring this fort, we climbed down the stairs back to where our ride was waiting for us.
After Amber fort, our driver took us to Jal Mahal. This Mahal is build in the centre of water. Going there is prohibited now. It was earlier allowed to visit this palace by boat.
After Jal Mahal, we went to Jantar Mantar.
Below are the inventions of our ancestors who were so talented and genius minds that they made these equipments to measure time, positions of planets, etc
There was a small temple inside Jantar Mantar.
On the next day we planned to cover the farther places. We covered Nahargarh fort and Jaigarh fort on day 3.
Jaigarh fort was all about climbing stairs. This fort was not a fancy one yet it offered a beautiful view as it was situated above amber fort.
After spending some time at Jaigarh fort we headed to Nahargarh fort which was the most awaited fort as we were going to have our dinner at 'Padao'.
Padao is a rooftop restaurant at Nahargarh which had an entry ticket with which there was a complimentary drink on that ticket. e
Though the dinner could not match the standard of this view but we enjoyed this fancy picturesque rooftop restaurant a lot.
Finally day 3 got over and we went back to out hotel to start packing our bags and finally bid adieu to this amazing place.
