unes to testing your endurance in trekking through this difficult terrain to reach the end of the world.The easiest way is to take a train(old delhi railway station) or bus(Bikaner house) to Jaisalmer which is the last station of India towards this side of border.There are many budget as well as luxury hotels available as per your need.The ideal time to go is in Winters. from december to March .Visit the fort, the museums,the sunset points as per your interests.Go to Hanuman Chowk and try Chaats and eat Pyaaz Kachauri at Chandan Restaurant.The 'Ghotuan' ladoo is very famous in the Bhatia Market at Bhopa chowk. It would be a shame if you didnt try 'laal mans' here.It is a unique mutton dish made only in this part of rajasthan and you'll crave for it for days after you are back.There are two major dunes in Thar- Sam and Khuri. Go to either one and frankly homestays are better than anything.If you go to Khuri, Stay at Badal House.We have been going there for years and he is very gentle and non commercial man.Take a camel ride and spend the nights in dunes,do a bonfire,on the way from jaiselmer to khuri -visit amarsagar,Kuldhara village,Desert National Park! The emporium and a few markets at Gandhi chowk are good places to shop and comment here and let me know if u find something new there! Bon Voyage!

It is a sunset point , also a funerary architecture where people are cremated in Jaiselmer and is an ideal for Photographers,Readers and Artists who want to sit silently and watch the sunset and wind pass by..There are other places like the Lake and the fort for a similar view! Eat at the Trio restaurant at Hanuman chowk.
