Located in the heart of Pink City Jaipur, and famous for housing an Egyptian Mummy, The Albert Hall Museum is the oldest museum of the state of Rajasthan.
Named after King Albert Edward, the museum was designed by Samuel Swinton Jacob and was opened to the public in 1887.
The museum has separate galleries showcasing antiques and heritage artefacts . The vast collection consists of Metal Art, Pottery, Miniature Paintings, Marble Art, International Art, Ivory, Jewelry, Woodwork, Furniture, Musical Instruments etc.
From a collection that showcases beautiful garments worn by the royals to assortment of guns, daggers, spears and knives, from collection of old coins, Quran, different semi-precious stone jewellery to collection of musical instruments, from stain glass paintings to wax statues of soldiers and kings, from miniature paintings to large carpets etc. the place will leave you awestruck as you roam across the gallery.
The Museum glows to it's perfection through the glimmering lights installed on the outer walls of the Museum.
