Jaipur - The Pink City or the city of grandeur. This city is perfectly articulated with the royalty in their soils. One can surely feel the magnificence of this place in it's air. Earlier the royal families and now the royal heritages exhibits its majesty.

One such grand royal heritage is City palace, which serves as a resident for royal family and a part of it is a museum. Sawai Jai Singh the founder of this built this palace between 1727 to 1732. The two main architect's of the palace were Vidyadar Bhattacharya, the chief architect in the royal court, and Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob.

The palace is filled with the traditional and royal things to explore. Everyone can find the choice of interest to glimpse on.

The palace is adorned with several arts and engravings. But the main attraction is the gates, which signifies each season and is denoted to each god.
The Peacock Gate with beautiful motifs of peacocks connotes autumn and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The Lotus Gate have continual flower and petal pattern depicting summer season and is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Parvati.  The Green Gate is portrayal of spring and is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. Last but not the least Rose Gate with repeated petal pattern represents winter season and is dedicated to Goddess Devi.

The palace is perfectly filled with forts, complexes, temples, gardens and courtyard.

Chandra mahal is one such complex of the palace, textured in cream seven storied structure. Giving a perfect panoramic view of the city stands with, beautiful pavilions, flowered ceilings, decorated balconies and wonderful paintings.

City palace museum is decorated with antiques and traditional belongings of the royal family. They have preserved it perfectly for the coming generation to know and understand their culture. It is the best place for history enthusiasts to gaze on.

The 'Palace of breeze' or the 'Hawa Mahal'
is one of the most fascinating place of Jaipur. It is actually an extension of City palace made in 1799 for the ladies in Royal family. At that time due to pardah system, this mahal was made so that they can gaze of everything without being noticed by others. This beautiful architecture wonder has 953 windows and it doesn't has foundation. This five storyed building is standing on its curved shape, made in mughal and rajput mix architecture. This is also said to be made in the shape of Lord krishna's crown.

One of the most interesting thing is The City Palace, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar all are at one place. Jantar Mantar the largest astronomical observatory is a celestial wonder of the city. This is one of the world heritage site constructed by Sawai Jai Singh II in 1734. It comprise of 19 instruments determining movements of celestial bodies.

Albert hall or The famous Albert hall museum was laid during the visit of the Prince of Wales, to Jaipur in 1876.To develope it as museum of Industrial Arts to display products of local craftsmen.
This Indo-Saracenic architectural marvel is designed with Indian classical designs adopted by mughal and rajput styles.
2300 years old Egyptian mummy is also kept here with other antiques.

Birla Mandir is another spiritual tourist attraction of Jaipur. This picturesque temple was built beneath the Moti Dungri fort Hill in 1988. This delicate mastery of artwork is a great example of secularism as, three domes represents Hindu, Muslim and Christianity. Whereas outside walls are decorated with figures from all religions including Socrates, Zarathustra, Christ, Buddha, and Confucius.
