Today is the last day on Pushkar and i climbed the mountain of Chamunda Mata .
Before going i decided to take a walk through the bridge of Pushkar ghat as the actual pushkar is dry and most of the lake water is just reserved water for tourists and sinners alike lol.
I went ahead and the staircase to this ghat seemed muddy and unused i was amazed that people would prefer the reserved pool better than the actual deal . I went ahead and soaked my feet and suddenly a bunch of pegions started flying in my direction and i sat there watching the beautiful hords of birds as if it was dance and i was the audience.
After a while i went ahead to walk a little more to which i reached a place where there were a few bulls and they were having trouble pulling the grains so i took some on both of my hands and kept my hands in front of the black one who actually came later but "the early bird gets the fish "
After feeding the bulls i came to this place on the 2nd picture where it had a architecture such quaint but no tourists or entrance aswell .
So after the walk i came near the temple in the 3rd picture where i could see the top and the mountain on the left .
I started trekking with bare feet because i know if trek this mountain with sandles i m gonna hurt myself , the tracks were covered in rocks and thorns and it was steep and no clear trek trails were there but the feeling of reaching the top feeling the air and smoking a bedi at the top can't be described in words . With this thought i went ahead and trekked in certain times using hands were also necessary .
I reached quiet some height and i was delighted by the scene so much i couldn't wait to get to the top , the thorns were all over my sweater as i tried to duck some of the thorny trees some got on the back of my sweater and some in front , it was annoying but these obstacles were necessary to put me aware of the situation and certainly for me trekking and rock climbing bare foot and without gear it was quite the task .
By the time i reached halfway the sun felt warm and decided to soak some sunlight and sit on the stone which looked comfortable enough for my ass . "Happy ass and happy feet "
I kept on climbing the rocks understanding where to put my hand carefully and pulling myself to the top and when i reached the very top inagine to my surprise a guy sitting there with his kid along with him and a fire going on .
Can you imagine someone at 5000ft avobe where ears feel the pressure he is making tea , i was amazed and happy at the same time , i wanted to drink some tea at the top and honestly it came teue in reality. The guys name was Sonu and his kids name is Arjun . They shared some their tea which was made with goats milk and the tea was so good that at the first sip the whole mouth feels with the scent of milk like cashews crushed and slight hint of ginger to make the smell more of a significance than the actual tea .
And did the smell work? Well "You" will only know if you make the climb.
After spending some of the most amazing moments i decided to take off to the top and this guy came in , lovely guy who was a goat keeper showed me the way to the tunnel at the top which travels down deep and i went down as much as i could it is said that "This tunnel is so deep and at the end of the tunnel the hands of Shakti and a saint guarding it . Only the choosen one can take it"
I reached the tunnel as much as my eyes can see and decided i m not worthy enough by the time i came out of the tunnel i came out at a different end and found this flag which i usually see from my hotel terrace and i finally found it .
I guess this is Shakti's way of saying you got what you wanted . And the goat keepers name is Mithu , and he gave me a few bedi's to smoke and we talked until i couldn't see the sun and decided to come down , the trek down was not easy , in some moments in the dark i definitely thought i would step in some thorns and its gonna hurt real bad but nothing happened and i reached down and drank some water from the Chamunda Mata Mandir and did the water taste good after the climb all day ?
Heck yes .
