Day 1

A trip to Rajasthan is like a tradition for every marwadi family no matter wherever we live around the world. So we had been planning a trip to Rajasthan for years and finally the day came. We boarded from Indore on a train to Rajasthan and next morning we were in Jaipur.

My cousin sister stays in Jaipur so we decided to stay at her place. As our cab was moving through the streets and market place of jaipur I felt more and more in love with this city seeing all the homes and shops and everything painted in pink. We took some rest at sister's home .In the evening we hired a cab  and started exploring places in Jaipur .

Uptill this point in the trip I was missing something - 'the goggles😎'. I saw some street vendors selling them and did not delay a second to buy them for me and my nephews. After all a pic in style is worth a million ! There were a lot of places around the fort which seemed to be great for a couple photoshoot . I regretted more and more for being single. 😬

* then we went to the Nahargarh fort which gave a beautiful view of the Jaipur city. Although I was more interested in my own pics 😜

* Then we went to the Jal Mahal. Which is beautiful Palace situated in the middle of a lake. Although, that day they were not allowing visitor's inside the palace but their is a flee and food market situated on the other side of the lake which gives great view of the palace. So we had some evening snacks and went back to my sister's home.

we then hired another cab for the rest 3 days of our journey.

Mehendipur Balaji -
wanna see Paranormal People 👻 and their treatment by Lord Hanuman ? 😎 you must visit Mehendipur Balaji temple which is around 100kms from Jaipur. Although the infamous Bhangarh fort was also on the way but my father did not want to see the ghosts of bhangarh 😛 so I postponed it for a future trip . In the evening we reached Mehendipur Balaji their was huge crowd of people waiting to take blessings of Lord Hanuman . Although, some women behaving weirdly apparently overpowered by evil spirits brought by their families for treatment gave some negative vibe to the place. Then in the night we left for Ranthambhore.

Day 3

Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve -
Early morning In Ranthambhore we left for Jangal safari . Although, we did not have any luck with the tigers but atleast we got to see the wilderness of Ranthambhore which was beautiful too. Then we went on to see the Ranthambhore fort which is all surrounded by the Forest and it gave a kind of a trekking experience.

we went for kuldevi pooja at the deepest root of us khandelwals , the khandela Village. This village gave me a karan Arjun kind of feeling.

Day 5

Day -5  Transit To Pushkar
Early Morning day 5 we left for Pushkar , on the way we visited khaatu-shyam , and Salasar Balaji temples. I wanted to get a camping experience so I booked a tent online for our Pushkar stay. But when we reached the campsite , my Father did not like the idea staying in a tent .So we stayed in the hotel rooms and I postponed my camping plan as my earlier Bhangarh plan 😒.

Day 6

Pushkar - The city of Lord Brahma

Pushkar is quite a beautiful city with a big lake surrounded by mountains and the temples , hotels and homes settled around.

Early Morning we did pooja at the lake with the help of priest and then we went to the beautiful pushkar temple. Around the temple there's a good market of handmade goods and traditional clothes.

After this we went for a camel ride which gave us mini desert kind of experience. On the midway of the camel ride there was traditional marwadi themed marketplace where people offered to give Rajasthani dresses on rent for photoshoot . For my mom being dressed in a Rajasthani attire was the best part of the trip !

Day 7

Back to Jaipur - As we had a return train from Jaipur next day , so we changed our direction back towards Jaipur . On the evening we went to see Rani Sati Mandir in Sikar. And the next morning we were on our way back to Indore with memories to cherish all life long ! 😇
