2.Jaisalmer – The Golden City
Time to visit: November to March
Duration: 2-3 days (including Sam)
Intercity travel: Hire a taxi. Unlike Jodhpur, app based cabs are not available. Though public transport is easily available.
Places to stay: One night in Jaisalmer city + One night camp stay at Sam.
Places to visit:
Jaisalmer Fort: One of the very few living forts. You will find all kinds of shops, cafes and roof top restaurants within the premises of the fort.

Time to visit: Monsoon and November to March. Udaipur can be seen at its best during monsoon season.
