The beautiful city is rich in Architecture, beautifully painted in pink, The Pink City Jaipur. It has so much to offer for tourists and for the people who like to explore the unexplored. I stayed in one of the most famous hostel chain in India "The Hostellers" which offers great stay at affordable prices.
It is built in the outskirts of jaipur city, about 10 km away from the centre. You can take Ola/Uber to the place but you have to walk for 2 km approx to reach the temple's entrance. Bikes/Cars go directly to the temple's entrance.
The place is beautifully built with 7 natural kunds and an architecture, built in between the narrow crevice of the hill. There are a lot of monkeys here, hence also known as The Monkey Temple of Jaipur.
It is a beautifully crafted temple that is dedicated to Mira Bai and has been built in the memory of the son of Queen Kanakwati and King Man Singh I. One can witness the details of ancient architecture carved on the walls of the temple.
Also rajasthan is incomplete with its bawris ( stepwells ) with symmetrical stairs. This kund is also one of the ancient stepwells of Rajasthan. The beautiful symmetrical stairs around the well amaze the tourists.
The architecture of the temple is amazing, another spot to have beautiful pictures on. This temple is right in front of panna Meena kund. The open circular roof of the temple gives an amazing view. I was lucky to witness the peacock flying over the temple and sitting on its peak, it was one of the most beautiful moments I've ever experienced.
This beautiful Lake is a man made lake which was built by Raja Sawai Jai Singh, with the intention of rainwater harvesting. It has a beautiful scenic view, surrounded by the Amer Wall. The wide view of the lake is visible from The Jaigarh Fort.
There's a watch tower near this lake from where you get an amazing city view with the beauty of Amer fort. The lake's beauty adds up from the top. The watch tower isn't quite safe to go alone but one should visit with a guide.
I ended the day with the amazing Daal Baati with some Churma. The place is top notch. The owners of the cafe are so humble and friendly, that I've even spent some time with the family and it made me feel like I'm with my own family. The food is amazing here with an amazing back view of the Amer Fort and The highest watch tower of Amer Wall.
On the way back you can take a few minute stop at Jal Mahal market. Treat yourself with some snacks here with an amazing view of Jal Mahal and explore the market for traditional jewelleries and other stuff.
