Day 1

Sitting on a our campus rooms, a spontaneous plan took place and we took out our bikes and headed to mount abu from Udaipur which is a 3.5 hours drive.

We left around 10 am in the morning along a good highway roads with moutains on both sides. We only stopped for cigarette and whenever we saw a good sight along the roads which was every 45 mins.

Once we reached at Mount Abu we explored a bit of a lake, but it is overly crowded all days of the year. After which we left out to the sunset point which is one hell of a sight. It is located around 3 kms from the lake. After having dinner, we left to our hotel as the night life isn't as good as a metropolitan. That night, we walked along nikki lake with lights shining bright from the other side of the lake.  The roads are emptied out starting 10:30 in the night. One should must take a walk along the lake for sure at night. It brings peace to the mind and body, apart from that you can always have a nice chat along the walk with your companion.

Day 2

The second day we woke up with a plan with all the things to visit. But, we had to make a decision of visiting a selected few. We began with turning our bikes to the kunkeshwar mahadev temple which was crowded with dieties from all over the country. Seeing the crowd we moved on to our next site but along the way stood a tall structure which looked like an astrophysics observatory.
We had saved the best for the last a replica of Christ the redeemer, the one in Rio de Janeiro. We had to trek for around 2 kms to reach the statue and there was no other soul nearby. The experience of exploring that site was sacred and pure just because of the exclusivity of the statue. The trek is full of small plants and bushes, and some part of the trek is steep up the mountain. You would be crossing a fence to actually reach the statue. Beware to take a proper set of footwear for the trek. One request for the fellow travelers - Don't spoil the place by messing it with garbage.

In all mount abu is filled with hidden treasures along the way you find forts, natural beauty and great food.
