For a person like me, getting out of Delhi is a big relief. Even if I am visiting the same place 100th time.
And when the place is Jaipur, i don't have to think twice. And why not, studying engineering in this place was the best time of my life. Friends, food, loitering around and a bit of engineering. Its been long since I am out of Jaipur but Jaipur still resides in me. I always make sure that I make regular trips to this beautiful place at least once a year.
So this year the trip came on my birthday. What better place to celebrate than Jaipur itself. So I packed my things, strapped them on my BLACK MAMBA and VRROOMMMMed on NH-8. I started my trip around 6 in the morning. Took a breakfast break at HIGHWAY KING. The food was really nice. Had some paranthas with hot glass of milk. It started raining when i again touched the highway. As i forgot to carry my rain gear so i took shelter under a nearby DESI CHAIWALA SHOP. It was a big savior. Waited there for half an hour and resumed journey afterwards. At around 11 am , i was in front of AMER FORT and how nostalgic it was.
Enjoyed the view for half an hour. Later decided to check in hotel first as it was more important after a tiring bike journey. My hotel AMER HERITAGE was right near Jal Mahal so it was quite convenient. It was such a relief when i lied on that warm bed after a quick shower. But no time should be wasted. So got ready and decided to visit lanes of jaipur for some lunch and quick shots. Went to MI road and Jaipur market. Wandered there for a while before heading to the famous GAURAV TOWERS. Oh Boy, what a feeling it was. I remembered my college days when it was a hot spot for me and my friends in college. Wish i could get them back. Decided to have some dinner there itself and stopped at ALBERT HALL for some quick shots before retiring for the day.
Got up early at 6 today. Needed some early morning shots. So it was a perfect time. Tried to get some shots for sometime till I captured some.
The crowd started pouring in as the city was waking up with each minute passing. So decided to head back to the hotel for breakfast and get ready for the most iconic place in mosoon if you are in Jaipur- The NAHARGARH FORT.
It started raining a little around 10 AM. But if something has to done then it has to done at any cost. Started the bike, felt the rain and enjoyed. The NAHARGARH valley comes alive during monsoon and the shots justify it. Reached there in half an hour, wandered around, took some pics and headed back for some lunch.Post lunch, decided to rest in a hotel and yes, it was a good decision as heavy rains started pouring in which lasted till 9 PM. Cool breeze and weather gave relief to all. Thought to dinner outside and went. Tried local food and yes my favorite sweet- GHEVAR before heading back.

So woke up after sleeping for full 10 hours. Packed my things as it was time to head back to that not so amazing city. And weather was so hot that i couldn't have imagined. But it had to be done. So bid my Goodbye to PINK CITY hoping to see soon
