As we reached Jaipur only by afternoon, our first priority was to have lunch 😉. Having read a lot of blogs before heading to Jaipur, one thing that was common on all the blogs was Cafe Palladio. And we were sure to visit this. We headed there on our first day itself and were happy about of choice.
We took an auto to City palace and the experience passing through the pink city (old city) was something amazing.
We had enough time only to explore City palace in detail. Later we visited the Krishna temple, which is very close to City palace, it's quite unique, do not miss it when you are there next time. It's not very tourist place, so you might not read much about it anywhere.
There will be a lot of autowalas who would want to escort you to "Maharani market" be stubborn and say No. Trust me you are not missing anything.
After the temple visit we roamed around Hawaii Mahal, it's beautiful when the lights are on. There are quite nice shops around if you want to do some shopping.
We had an awesome rajasthani dinner in one of the small hotel opp to Hawa mahal.
On day 3 we took a day trip to Pushkar
Day 2 was more of a fort day for us.
We started our day by visiting Sisodia Rani ka bhag, followed by Jal Mahal, Naharghad fort, Jaighar fort, and ended our day by watching lights at Amer fort.
Day 4 was exclusively for shopping and in between visited Jantar mantar.
We ventured out into Albert museum, masala chowk, Raj mandir to catch up a movie and to airport to find our way back to Bengaluru, home is where the heart is.
