Brys Fort is where traditional meets modern.
The golden city of Jaisalmer is known for the rich history and tradition. Hotel Brys Fort is a treasure tucked away from the city and offers complete privacy and peace. The property is huge and has a grand entrance which will transport you to the bygone era. With limited number of luxury accommodation options, this property stands out amongst others. The minute you step in, you will be treated royalty. Rajasthan is known for the forts and rich history and this property in Jaisalmer will literally take you back in time.
About the property:
The hotel has 80 spacious rooms and 10 tents. The tents are usually operational during Winters. Out of the 80 rooms, a few are club rooms which are equipped with a swimming pool. All the rooms are equipped with a television, air conditioner, a dressing area and WiFi. Since you are here on a leisure trip, I would advice you to hit the pool. The pool area is the best public space in the hotel. There is a children’s play area, a spa and a barbeque counter adjacent to the pool.
The budget hotel is located at a distance of 10 minutes from the city and has a stunning view of the fort at night. Its public spaces combine traditional and modern with furniture that will take you back to the royal era. There are a number of lobbies for you to stroll through and it has a three tier garden. There is a restaurant, a bar and beautifully done up terrace. There are traditional lanes you can walk through to reach different parts of the property. The architecture of the property will remind you of Bollywood movies and take you back into royalty. The lawn is huge which has made it a hit for events and occasions. Enjoy star gazing from the terrace of the hotel and soak in the stunning view of the city by the night.
Food:
Jaisalmer is a small city which means you will have limited choices when it comes to food and beverages. There were only a few items on the menu which were available at the time. Do not keep high expectations with regard to food and beverages here. The staff will ensure that they serve you the best from whatever is available to them. Since it was an off season, the tents were closed and the bar was not operational. The cost of food is average and so is the quality.
If you are headed to Jaisalmer and looking for privacy and a luxurious stay, choose Brys Fort. The best part about the hotel is its location. It is close to the city, yet far enough to provide privacy and peace. Read more hotel reviews on www.misshotelreviewer.com
