Day 1

Scouting for immemorial and historical India. I welcome the enthusiastic explorer to the princely state of India, Rajasthan. The
state prominently known for its diverse culture, beautiful arts and
traditions.

Explorers always scout for something unique. Such uniqueness can
be a place, monument, scriptures and more.

Here I got you guys!
Hawa Mahal, situated in the Pink City (Jaipur) can be your next spot.
So, what are you waiting for?
On reaching Jaipur, make your way to Badi Chaupar. The best medium to reach is by way of Metro or you can manage according to
your convenience. On arrival, a few steps walk and you get to explore the spectacular ancient monument.
Hawa Mahal, according to my delineate, “Palace of Jharokhas”.

Jharokhas means window project on the wall of a building and as the name suggests ‘Palace of Winds’ because the monument has 953 Jharokhas(windows). The structure was built by Maharaj Sawai Pratap Singh and was designed by Lal Chand Ustad in 1799. One
interesting fact about the architecture of Hawa Mahal is that it is the tallest building with a height of 50 feet laid without a foundation.

Built-in with red and pink sandstone.
Is that so? No!! Badi Chaupar has one more speciality other than Hawa Mahal. The market of Badi Chaupar around the ambient of
Hawa Mahal could be the best thing you can try out.

The market offers a variety of traditional clothes wear and footwear, Amazing street foods and stuff as souvenirs. Don’t forget to explore the streets of Jaipur. Trust me you’ll endear the culture of Rajasthan.
