Jaipur -The Pink City, So called because of the pinkish colour painted over city historic buildings, flyover, huge road gates of the city, almost everywhere . Entire Jaipur you can see the colour.
Opened my yes in the Pink city though I took the nap from my home away from home, January being a bit cold could better to take a jacket and a muffler along was the best idea, since the ride was smooth and fine in the bus, inside they will provide you best facilities like blanket and water bottle and warm hearted staff of the Tantia Travels Company , it was 6:15 am in the morning , just after made my next local bus ride to the Conference location , at Jaipur you can get ola cab, bike on rent as well as with driver, took breakfast in the campus canteen, was good , went to the auditorium and grabe the knowledge as mush as i could few hours later, lunch was there and again the lecture session starts and few hours later the conference finishes and then in the evening i took a cab to the Hawa Mahal
About Hawa Mahal, the evening will be a good idea if you want to take pictures of the Mahal as well of yours in the Night sky, but it's crowded a bit and you can't enter inside the Hawa Mahal, I return back to the hotel near Sindhi Camp Jaipur, but after a rest in the hotel, tried the street food there, and back to the hotel and then a long nap for the next 10 hours,
Woke up 8:00 am in the morning, went for a simple breakfast from nearby stall because I wasn't hungry enough and then booked a Uber bike to Jantar Mantar to explore Jaipur, if you are alone or two people then Uber bike and the local busses & the electric tempo will be best to explore the city. And for best I would suggest take Uber bike if you are short of time, because traffic in Jaipur is bit tricky which the Uber bike beats well to save your time, it took me 10 minutes from my location to Jantar Mantar, took tickets to get in, which coast different to Indian, students of India and foreigners, one more good thing is there is no etc charges for camera, A TIP- no need to get a guide for inside architecture information, the policeman there can give you that information for free.
Canteen available inside, with mostly all kinds of local and western fast foods.
An hour is very enough to explore and understand the whole Jantar Mantar.
Next to it was the The Maharaj Sawai Mann Singh Museum, it was just opposite there, for which visitors have to get tickets from the gate. I didn't get inside because of shot of time, also local suggest to explore other sites if short of time so from there I went to the zo
From Jantar Mantar it took me around 15 minutes to the zoo via a Uber bike ride , I would suggest visitors to think before planning zoo Jaipur zoo here I didn't find exploring and visiting unless you are with children and families, the zoo was 2 in numbers for which one ticket is enough which cost Rs 27 for Indians and with 📷 you have to pay Rs 75 etc. The zoo have mostly birds & few animals to watch rest nothing it's not like a kind of Zoo New Delhi, so better save time explore rest part of Jaipur,
BUT for animal and birds lover they must get in here to take close range short of the all lovely creatures here, I also love clicking lovely creatures, few of my shorts .
I spare here nearly 40 minutes. Was fine.
Located just 2 minutes walk from the zoo, just next to the road, is visible from the zoo.
The best part of the place is the pigeons, A lot of pigeons spare their winter life here on & around this Museum, Local & the tourists serve corn and other seeds for the birds, For photography it is definitely the perfect site, many of the Jaipur's newly married couples come to shoot their wedding photos and videos, The museum architecture is unique in its colour and design then rest of all Jaipur hotspots, .
Hawa Mahal, by name it's sound like *Wind Palace* so it is, because it is literally known as " The Palace of Wind" and the reason behind it is the huge no. of windows of the Mahal, around 958 windows is there which is the way for the wind so it is Hawa Mahal. Fully Ventilated
Whosoever visits Jaipur, you must visit here to embrace the it's unique architecture, which is definitely for clicking photos, outside the Mahal is bit buzzy because its located in the city centre just next to the main road, so the regular traffic is noisy there, I explore the inside of the Mahal and took photograph, to have the front view of the Mahal beautifully I have have to get on the roof of the opposite building ( which is a shop) crossing the road. And yeah to get here fast is the #uber bike will be the best if you're not exploring in gangs.
Jal Mahal - A Palace in the Middle of Man Sagar Lake.
It's beautiful though I couldn't get access to get inside of the Mahal, said it's closed of the locals there. just took an outlook from the bank of the lake, took some photographs, on the lake bank many locals had their stalls of different foods, fish foods local boutiques, and many studio photographers to get photography done in Rajasthani Costumes, a little bit error there is, the bank of lake is little bit dirty and the lake is being polluted by few of the locals as well as by the few tourists, So a request to the good humans of the planet 🌍 to keep the Jal Mahal & the area nearby it Clean.
This Palace is far from the city though its the best of Jaipur prime hotspots to be explored, opposite to it another fort.
On way to this palace, the Pari Mahal is also located by the road side in the lake. Mid in the noon I took the local bus to this Palace, other means of transportation are Uber bike, cab, electric cabs. It will take around 30 minutes from the city to here, Afternoon and evening will be the best time to visit here as the sun and the evening moon is just towards the palace suggested by the locals, It took an hour to completely explore this palace, Few restaurants and fast food, local food stalls are available in front of the entrance with genuine quality and service is available.
At the end i would say - Jaipur is Awesome...
