Let me help you get the most of The Pink City in 2 days💙
Best thing is Jaipur is equally beautiful at night as well as in daytime. The best part of exploring the city is you can divide the time and get most of the city in a single day, as few things are best enjoyed at daytime and others are to be enjoyed at night with their light shows.
You can always start the day with a Temple then move to a Fort and finally end the day in old city with beautiful lights.
1. Moti Doongri Ganesh Temple- Birla Mandir- JKK- Amer Fort- Albert Museum- Masala Chowk
Moti Doongri Temple and Birla Temple are located adjacent to each other hardly 5min walk away and can be covered within an hour.
Then while going towards Amer fort you can enjoy meals in ICH at Jawahar Kala Kendra. Their south indian cuisine is super tasty😋
Reach Amer by afternoon and explore the fort which will easily take 3hrs.
From there, enjoy light show of Albert Museum which starts from 6pm till 10pm everyday and lastly head away to Masala Chowk for a delicious dinner which is very close to museum.
Spend a day in the main old city.
2. Govind Dev Temple- Jantar Mantar- City Palace- Nahargarh Fort- Jal Mahal- Hawa Mahal
Start the day by visiting Govind Dev temple which is near to the hawa mahal & holds significance.
From there, visit the Jantar Mantar which is a UNESCO world heritage site.
Opposite to this, is the beautiful 🌟City Palace which is a must visit🌟
By afternoon, move to Nahargarh fort. On your way from City Palace to Nahargarh fort you'll see Hawa Mahal and Jal Mahal (without their lights in daytime). At Nahargarh Fort, start with having lunch at "Once Upon a Time at Nahargarh".
Then enjoy the fort, wax museum and spend later part of the evening at "Padao Restaurant" watching a mesmerizing sunset over the Pink City.
While back to the city from the fort, you'll again come across Jal Mahal and Hawa Mahal now with their lights on which will amaze you this time with their beauty.
By this day, you'll already had visited major tourist attractions of the city.
Still if you got a day, plan all the distant places of the city to explore.
3. Galta Temple- Shishodia Rani ka Bagh- Jaigarh Fort- Hotel Rambagh Palace- Patrika Gate- Chowki Dhani
Start the day by visiting Galta Temple also known as Monkey Temple.
Near to this, is beautiful Shishodia Rani ka Bagh where you can take your breakfast and enjoy a picnic.
By afternoon, visit the Jaigarh Fort to see the largest canon and it won't take longer than 2hrs to explore the entire fort.
Then visit the royal Rambagh Palace for a luxurious vibe.
From there, move towards Chowki Dhani for a typical rajasthani vibe. On your way, halt at Patrika Gate before the sunset for some breathtaking pictures at the most colourful and picturesque gate.
