When we think of Jaipur, there are numerous things to talk about: the majestic architecture seen in the forts and palaces, food, royal Rajasthani culture, heritage, prominent businesses like antiques, jewellery, handicrafts, gems, bangles, pottery, etc. On the contrary, the city also has a modernity to it. This report is about a cafe in Malviya Nagar that goes by the name "There for You". Why would anyone post about a cafe on the travel forum, we will see.

So it is not a universal thing, certainly, but still, there's a high chance that you might have at least heard, assuming not seen, of "Friends," probably the most famous sitcom in the world. Well, in its theme song or should I say opening credits, there is a line "I'll be there for you"; guess that's the motivation behind the name of the place, and it's a no-brainer the cafe owner must be a "Friends" fan.

So first things first: I'm not a cafe person, not even a passionate foodie. But I love "Friends." One fine day back in 2021, February 6th, to be precise, I visited the place just to be in the environment, with a thought to self: sure, if you can't be in New York, why not in Jaipur? If magically somehow you got to know about the place that mimics some attributes from the show.

As mentioned, food wasn't much of a concern for me, but that too was good as far as I can remember (albeit hard to guess the taste almost after 3 years). They've got the famous sofa, the door of Monica's apartment just like the show, and pictures on the walls make it even more nostalgic. If talked about from a general viewpoint, it is spacious, has good ambiance, a calm and composed environment. So, I just felt like sharing it with the community. Also, the place is near Jawahar Circle, Patrika Gate, and World Trade Park, so there are more options around to hang out and chill.
