Hotel Swan Haveli, Jaisalmer REVIEW: Beautiful & Budget-Friendly | GarimaShares

I visited Jaisalmer in the month of December, December 15 to be exact, and stayed at Hotel Swan Haveli.

Spent days going through different hotels, stays and resorts around the city. My main preference was that the hotel should be close to the spots I want to visit and if its at a walking distance then its the best!

I first saw the hotel on Agoda, and man I was sold just looking at the rooftop terrace they had. You can see the entire Jaisalmer Fort from it.

I wasn't looking for something expensive. A nice place that's beautiful (because I've to take photos and videos) and is easy on the pocket.

In addition to a Photographer, I'm also a content creator on Instagram. This makes photos & generally documenting my trip a really important part of my trips and I genuinely enjoy it.

It excites me to plan out what kind of shots and videos I can take at the places I'm visiting. So, obviously, selecting a hotel is one of the many things I'm picky about.

It lights up at night and looks like a scene from a movie. The terrace has a bird's eye view of the Golden City, so its like having your sunset point right in the hotel in which you're staying.

Oh btw, this isn't a paid review. I booked the place, stayed and enjoyed on my own regard. This is an honest review of the hotel.

The WiFi is pretty good too. The staff is very courteous and kind.

The main road is at a walking distance from where you can take an Uber, local taxis or autos to visit places. You can ask the hotel staff to help you find a local taxi.

They have contacts of the local taxis and make the task easier for you.

On my trip, we mostly took local autos as they're the cheapest options available right outside the door.

We tried booking an Uber for our ride from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur but couldn't find any. So, you should check out with local taxis if you're planning to go to Jodhpur as well.

It cost us Rs. 4,000 for one taxi, with 4 people.

We had booked two rooms, one superior family room and one deluxe double room. They were quite spacious and I loved the decor!
