Half day trip to Bharatpur

कुछ इत्तफाक अच्छे होते हैं. #bharatpur Bird Sanctuary

This place was not on our itinerary. Y’day we had a plan to visit Fatehpur Sikri in the morning and in to the evening we (read it as I) wanted to do shopping in Agra. 

However our home stay owner insisted us to visit Bharatpur which is merely 25kms from Fatehpur. After reading TripAdvisor reviews, we thought we'll spend an hour or  so and will be back to Agra so that I can do shopping. Instead of an hour we ended up spending 4 hrs here  and kids wanted to spend more time but unfortunately it gets closed at 6 pm.
You can see variety of bird species (approximately 300+) , migrate birds,  wild animals like Hyena, Jackal etc . and more than that  can enjoy lovely nature Walk. I’d recommend to hire a guide, it’s totally worth. They charge of hourly basis and they carry telescope 🔭  which is really helpful.
You can either walk or hire a bicycle which Sumeet did or take a cycle rickshaw. Total trail is approximately 6 km one way.

Like Surajji insisted us not to miss this place, I’m also insisting you if you are in or around Agra do visit this place.
