The Wildlife Circuit

Route:
Delhi – Bharatpur – Dholpur – Ranthambore – Delhi
Leave Delhi early morning for the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary.
Time taken to reach Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary:
Four hours
Things to do:
Spend the day here bird-watching in the lap of nature. The sanctuary hosts thousands of birds, especially during the winter season. Over 230 species of birds are known to be its residents. You can take a cycle tour, a paid rickshaw tour or trek along the paved path.
Where to stay:
Plenty of guest houses are available near the national park. Prices for guest houses start at Rs 500.
Cost:
The entry fee for the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is Rs 50 per person for Indians. The cost for two persons for a rickshaw ride is Rs 50 per hour. If you choose to hire a guide, it will cost you an additional Rs 200.
Next morning, leave early for Dholpur
Time taken to reach Dholpur:
Two hours
Things to do:
Spend a few hours in the company of endangered Gharial Crocodiles, Ganges River Dolphin and the Red-crowned roof turtle on the National Chambal Safari. Then, leave for Ranthambore Tiger Reserve.
Time taken to reach tiger reserve:
Five hours
Where to stay:
Spend the night at one of many guest houses around the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Guest house rents start at Rs 500.
Charges for National Chambal Safari:
A walking tour of the safari is free. At an approximate cost of Rs 1,850 plus taxes, you can hire a boat, enjoy the services of an escort, enjoy a camel safari through the Chambal ravines up to Fort Ater and back to base at the edge of the Chambal river.
Head out for the safari tour as the day breaks through the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Morning safaris are the best way to spot the elegant Bengal Tigers that the reserve is famous for.
Charges for Tiger Reserve:
A safari by a shared canter costs Rs 1,850 per person. Charges for a shared Jeep are Rs 3,100 per person per safari.
Later in the night, leave for Delhi
