Hey guys,
Its been quite a long time I posted anything on my blog, so here it goes. In last month, On November 22 was our anniversary and my hubby took me to surprise which I was dreaming about since so long and that is Hot Air Balloon Safari. Yay, I still can't believe that I actually did it. Woohoo.
Ticket booking: Tickets were booked from AdventureNation website and the cost was around 20000/-- INR for a couple.
As the nearby place for this safari was Jaipur for us so he planned a weekend getaway for this whole experience along with some more surprises. We drove from Delhi to Jaipur on Saturday morning and reached our hotel Lords Plaza around 2 PM. After checking in we got freshened up and went to visit City Palace to have some gala time.
After visiting City Palace and some shopping. We came back to our hotel for another surprise waiting for me. It was a fancy dinner at Fortune select hotel to celebrate our 2 years of togetherness.
Next morning we had to be ready by 5:30 AM, as the balloon flight was scheduled for early morning.
When we reached the location we were served tea/ coffee and some cookies for the welcome.
The first sight of the balloon(The biggest one in India) left us mesmerized n spellbound. It was being inflated and in the process to take off. We were so happy and excited to experience this especially me as it was something that was always on my bucket list.
The night before our flight I didn’t sleep much as I was a bit anxious, however, it all went away as soon as the balloon took us off. It was so calm and smooth as if there were hardly a yank.It was a very peaceful experience except for the loud roar of the burners that keeps the balloon afloat.Even our landing was as smooth as the take-off.
Our flight took off from a fixed spot and floated over vast green land and small neighborhoods. People from nearby places even waved us excitingly. It was early morning and hence we got to see epic scenes to capture and Witness a beautiful sunrise. It was almost fairy tale like. Later we also got the certificates of our first flight of this Safari.
Here are some of pics from the whole adventure:
