Jodhpur passionately known as the Blue city.

Rudyard Kipling has aptly said that the fort is “a palace that might have been built by Titans and colored by the morning sun”.

As a kid we have grown up listening to stories of kings and queens living in their rich palaces. The king's balcony overlooking his kingdom and Princess dancing in the courtyards. Magnanimous rooms with towers hugging the sky.

During my college trip back in the year 2014, I relived this dream.

Jodhpur has all the colorful and vibrant vibes to fill up your energy. The blue color is a reminder of the Brahmins, who used to paint their houses blue to deter insects and keep the dwellings cool during the summer. Founded in 1459, the old city is encircled by an imposing wall and accessed through eight magnificent gates.

Step into the bygone era.........

Why visit this bustling blue city ?

Because you just can't miss the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort.

Start your day by hiking up this vast fort.

For all the batman fans, 'The dark knight rises' had a significant scene shot at this fort.

Built by Rao Jodha in 1438, this fort has walls as high as 118 feet and a width of 69 feet that protects the massive area of it.

Draped in the shadow of the fort is Jaswant Thada, a beautiful marble crematorium constructed for the maharajahs in the 19th century.

Its impeccable design displays the complexity of Royal Rajput Style Architecture.
