After Udaipur, i was in a dilemma whether i'll be able to fall for any other city in rajasthan. In order to decide that i planned a road trip with my friends to pushkar. Pushkar is a enticing interplay of history and mythology that makes it must visit city in Rajasthan. Since i reside in Delhi, Pushkar was suitable for a road-trip. Pushkar has very well road connectivity from Delhi. Approximate distance for pushkar from Delhi is 416 kilometers via NH48 and it takes around 8-9 hours to reach.

There are other ways to reach pushkar as well.

By Air: The nearest airport to pushkar is Jaipur, which is 140 kilometers away. The airport is well connected to major metropolitan cities like Delhi, Mumbai, kolkata. Once you reach airport you can hire a cab to pushkar.

By Bus: This isn't the most convenient options for people travelling from elongated distant cities. However, buses are easily available for Ajmer from cities like Delhi, Jaipur from where you can reach pushkar with help of State transport buses.

By train: You can reach Ajmer Railway station which is well connected from cities like delhi and jaipur and take a bus or cab for a 30 minute journey to pushkar.

Now, that you've reached. Here are 6 reasons you need to know why you are pushing up pushkar in your cities to visit bucket list for 2019.

Yes, you heard it right. This is one of the experience you'll cherish once you're in pushkar. rajasthan is famous for it's street food and Kachori is a dish that is a local Rajasthani favourite. It is no wonder then that the kachori makers it to the top of almost every street food vendor’s menu. Deep fried and served hot, a kachori is best eaten with a sweet or mildly spiced sauce and a hot cup of tea.
