This was a 2-day trip to Jaipur from Delhi. We boarded the Ajmer - Delhi Shatabdi from Delhi on 13th August. It generally takes 4 hours to reach Jaipur in Shatabdi Express from Delhi.

Reached around 10.30AM and checked-in to the hotel in Bani Park. Bani Park area has many hotels and lies 1-km from Jaipur railway station.

We had our lunch and headed straight to Hawa Mahal. You can take Ola/ Auto/ Tuktuk to travel within the city. Close to Hawa Mahal, lie major tourist attractions like the Jantar Mantar and the City Palace. For the ones who want to shop for some Rajasthani handicrafts, Rani Factory is a great option. Also there are local shops available. The area near Hawa Mahal serves some great kulfi as well. That was all about day 1.

Day 2 started with the trip to Amer Fort. It nearly takes 1.5 to 2 hours to cover the entire fort. If you are travelling during summers, caps and shades are a must.

From Amer Fort, we went for lunch to a place called Pink City Restaurant for some authentic Rajasthani cuisine. They serve Rajasthani non-veg thali for Rs. 550 and veg-thali for Rs.450.

Post lunch we set out for Nahargarh Fort. Nahargarh Fort is famous for its Seesh Mahal and presents a scenic view of the entire Jaipur city which is a must watch.

After covering Nahargarh Fort, we headed to the railway station to catch a train back to Delhi therey completing our trip to the Pink City.
